Do I need an account?
No. XueToGo has no login, no sign-up and no servers. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline.
What is free, and what needs Plus?
The free version includes 200 words, 60 phrases, all four foundation lessons and the first three grammar lessons. XueToGo Plus unlocks all 2,200 words and phrases, all 28 lessons, every HSK level and all six meaning languages.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by this app. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also go directly to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
I paid but the app still shows me the free version.
Open Profile → Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe. If it still does not appear, email me and I will help.
How does the free trial work?
The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends at no cost. The app also sends a reminder two days before the trial finishes, if you have notifications enabled.
I lost my progress.
Progress is stored on your device only, so deleting the app removes it permanently. There is no cloud backup — this is the trade-off for collecting no data about you.
Where does the audio come from?
Words and phrases are read aloud using the Chinese text-to-speech voice built into iOS. If the audio sounds wrong or is silent, check that a Chinese voice is installed under iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
The widget is empty.
Open the app once after installing so it can fill the widget with today's phrases, then the widget will update on its own each morning.
