No. There is no login, no sign-up and no server. Everything runs on your iPhone. If you're signed in to iCloud, your collection is also backed up to your own private iCloud container so it survives a new phone.
The free version holds up to 10 flags, with the full globe, the flat map, the offline map and all four looks. Flag Game Plus removes the limit so you can add everyone you meet. Nothing you've already added is ever locked or deleted.
The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You aren't charged during it, and you can cancel any time before it ends at no cost. The app also sends a reminder two days before it finishes, if you've allowed notifications. The monthly plan has no trial.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by this app. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions — or go straight to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Open Settings → Flag Game Plus and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with. If it still doesn't appear, email me and I'll sort it out.
Open the app once after installing it, so it can write the summary the widget reads. If it still shows nothing, remove the widget from the home screen and add it again — iOS caches widgets aggressively.
An optional, private way to record how far things went with someone, with a note. They're off by default and can be hidden behind Face ID in Settings → Medals. Nobody but you ever sees them — there's no account and nothing is shared.
Yes, if iCloud is on — check Settings → Your data, which tells you plainly whether iCloud sync is active. You can also export everything to a JSON or CSV file at any time from the same screen, and import it back.
Flags are drawn as simplified vectors so they stay crisp at any size, which means some details are approximate. If one is genuinely wrong — not just simplified — email me the country and I'll fix it.
Nothing is collected. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
